WHO Action Figures

Yeah, yeah, it's official. Some of you already know it, but I've ordered those 'End of Time' action figures. All of them. Yeepee! I'm so happy. They sure do look fantastic. I can't wait to add them to my collection! Anyway, I want to upload a couple of review videos from YouTube. I'm just awaiting approval to do so. Are the Silurians back??

We've waited 26 years for this. Finally, the Silurian lizard creatures are being brought back to Doctor Who, reveals the Sun. Last time we saw them, the brown lizard monsters were trying to destroy humanity with our own nuclear missiles in 1984 – but now they're back after a few years "lying undisturbed under the Earth". No word on whether they erupt through the Blue Peter garden.

What do you think, guys? Are we ready for a Silurian comeback? I, for one, am truly excited. I loved the Silurians in both Pertwee and Davison eras, respectively. The episode were really good, and all the plot about taking over Planet Earth and the Master's having something to do with it... Aw, that was the life.

Have you seen the new DW action figures?

Yeah, yeah, it's true. I'm almost 18 and I collect DW action figures. I don't play with them, if that's what you're thinking! Anyway, I'm building a collection. I shall post a picture of my figures... someday. Eventually. More to the point, there are some NEW DW figures, and I'm very excited about it.

I know there's a pack with Rassilon and all, which is very cool. Also, I've seen a review of an injured Tenth Doctor :D. And here you have some good news: they're changed the Tenth Doctor's hair! Finally! They've been using the same layout over and over again. Now the hair is just spot on. And the bruises... oh, brilliant! There's an Eleventh Doctor figure as well. I haven't seen it properly, though, but it looks really neat.

I'm Baaaaack! (rant about Who haters)

Yeah, it has been a long, long time. I'm so sorry, I've been really busy. :/

Anyway, I need to rant a bit. I was on YT and went to this channel in which two people were constantly dissing DT and DW. What the deuce? What is wrong with some people? I don't like certain things, but I respect people who do. And that's the end of it. That got me really angry, specially as I'm rather down because of work and all that. I don't need this. Not now. So here's a warning: Don't like DW or DT? Well, do us a favour: keep it to yourself. Or, at least, don't throw it in Whovians' faces. Respect us, as we will do the same.

New New New Doctor! - Series 5 Preview

Ten has regenerated... Bring on the Eleventh Doctor!

*major spoiler alert!!*

What a fantastic episode. And I mean FANTASTIC. You would think that I would say that it was horrible because Ten regenerated, but as a Whovian I try to look at things from different perspectives altogether. And what an amazing episode. The faults were minimal, really: I know a lot of people complained about Russell's writing and choice of characters, but we must keep in mind that DW is also aimed for children: and I guess it's funnier that way - instead of having death and fatal battles all the time, we can rejoice in his wit. There were some things that suprised me, though, especially the fact that I was almost certain that the Time War was going to be the reason why Ten regenerated! That was amazing. I was almost glad that Rassilon was back... although I was never too keen on him. But kudos to RTD for bringing him back.

The scene in which the Doctor holds the gun was incredibly scary. I was petrified. I was so, so nervous. For once, I thought that the 'Time Lord Victorious' had taken his soul for good. Thankfully, that was not the case. Another aspect I must mention is the fact that I almost thought the Doctor was going to commit suicide. I was really scared when he entered that little chamber to save Wilf's life. And David and Bernard's acting... that was BRILLIANCE! It was powerful, raw and so exciting all at the same time. It was beautiful. As was the Tenth Doctor, like Wilf said. (that bit was extremely emotional, although I cried during the entire episode) The Jack/Alonso and Martha/Mickey bit was totally unexpected, though. But I quite liked it. It was good. And then the Doctor visiting all his former companions... oh, that was so sad... and so lovely. He saved their lives so many times and yet he came back one last time. I cried really, really hard when he said his final words... 'I don't want to go'. :( Still hurts, but I'm sooooo excited about the upcoming Who episodes! :D

This is all I can muster at the moment... Might write something more on the subject when I've digested all the information.
